No prior experience is necessary … all levels are welcome in this delightful class! Class is focused on ballroom dance steps and includes waltz, fox trot, and East Coast swing. For those who have taken Dennis’ classes, you know you are going to have very enjoyable evenings – and it’s great exercise, too. Learn new steps, brush up on old favorites; and you’ll be ready for the next wedding. PLEASE NOTE FEE IS FOR ONE COUPLE.

STRINGS - Spring Session Beginners

Classes are offered for beginning violin, viola, cello, and bass, and also intermediate and advanced violin and viola. Classes are tailored to each student’s experience, with emphasis on correct playing positions and good sound production. Music reading is not required to beginners but will be introduced and fostered through the classes. Information on renting or otherwise obtaining an instrument is available; please contact Adult Ed for details.

The Ukulele Journey Continues! Beyong Beginners

Calendar Mar 8, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 4 weeks

Get ready to take your ukulele playing to another level with Duncan Perry! In this course, you’ll explore left hand ornamentation techniques and expand your knowledge of strumming and finger picking. Of course, there will be new songs to play and many laughs to be had along the way. The pace will be geared to the skill level of those enrolling. At a minimum, all students are expected to know basic chord formations, be capable of smooth chord transitions, and have a grasp of finger picking. If you love playing the ukulele and you want to enhance your knowledge of this wonder instrument, this course is a must.
